Services will be held at a later date for Lonny Thompson, 64 of Live Oak, California. He passed away due to a long illness on Sunday, December 20, 2009 at his residence in Live Oak, CA.
Lonny was born July 20, 1945 in San Luis Obispo, California. He was a long time resident of Live Oak having worked many years as a Welder Fabricator for Sunset Molding, Sun Sweet Dryers and Deluxe Packaging. He was an avid bass fisherman and enjoyed photography. He was a devoted Grandpa.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bert Thompson and 2 brothers, Donny Thompson and Keith Thompson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Stephanie (Dekens Sill) Thompson of Live Oak, CA; 1 son, Steven Thompson of Live Oak, CA and 1 daughter, Lisa Babler of Live Oak, CA. He is also survived by his mother, Fray Combs of Live Oak, CA; 1 brother, James Thompson of Live Oak, CA; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
