A Graveside Service will be held Friday, July 10, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Gridley-Biggs Cemetery for Celeste Nunn, of Gridley, California. She passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Oroville Hospital in Oroville of natural causes.
Celeste was born April 21, 1949 in Berkeley, California. She was a long time resident of Gridley, having worked as a caregiver. She enjoyed reading and sight seeing many historical sights. She was known for her singing, writing songs and poems.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Nunn and her father, Harvey Jean Hays.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Tina Moulder of Gridley, CA and Stacy Del Rio & husband Moises of Live Oak, CA; and her mother, Wanda Makoveck of Martinez, CA. She is also survived by 1 sister, Jeanne Eutsler of Elk Grove, CA and 6 grandchildren.
Pastor Jerry Pinkley of First Baptist Church of Thermalito, will officiate at the service.
Interment will be held at Gridley-Biggs Cemetery.
Contributions to the Parkinson’s Foundation and the American Heart Association are suggested by the Family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
