Martha Faye Ruggles, 60, of Oroville, California, passed away on December 21, 2009, at Oroville Hospital. She was born July 14, 1949, in Oroville.
She was employed by Tri County Growers for 28 years. She worked hard her whole life and was a good mother and wife. She raised two daughters that she was very proud of. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and having “Movie Nights” with them. One of her joys in life was her dog, Misty. She loved taking Misty to the park and spending time with her.
She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Melton and Sandra Pruitt, both of Biggs, California.
She has nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She is also survived by two sisters, Barbara Murray, of Oroville and Patricia Franks, of Honcut, California. She also has three brothers remaining, David Nunley, of Biggs, and J.D. Nunley and Michael Nunley, both of Oroville.
She also has numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her tremendously. She is preceded in death by her mother, Martha Nunley and father, Oscar Conn and two brothers, Oscar Conn and Kennard Conn, all from Oroville and one sister, Shirley Conn, of Oklahoma.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2010, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Scheer Memorial Chapel.
A Church Service will be held on Monday, January 4, 2010, at 1 p.m., at Palermo Bible Family Church, 2570 North Villa Avenue, Palermo, California, followed by a Reception.
