A Memorial Service will be held Monday, January 11, 2010 at Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel at 10 a.m. for Susan L. McChristian, 66 of Gridley, California. She passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Biggs-Gridley Memorial Hospital in Gridley of natural causes.
Susan was born June 3, 1943 in West Virginia. She was a long time resident of Gridley having worked many years as an LVN. She was known for her love of people and willingness to help others. She enjoyed spending time gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Bill McChristian of Gridley, CA; 5 sons and 1 daughter. She is also survived by 1 brother, 8 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Pastor Eugene Rushing of the First United Pentecostal Church in San Lorenzo will officiate at the service.
Private inurnment will be held.
Arrangements are entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
