A Graveside Service will be held Monday, June 21, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Gridley-Biggs Cemetery for Pat R. Oakley, 69 of Gridley, California. She passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Biggs-Gridley Memorial Hospital, Hovlid Center, of natural causes.
Pat was born February 5, 1941 in Yuba City, California. She was a long time resident of Gridley. She enjoyed bowling and baseball and played on the Gridley City League for many years. She also enjoyed camping and family gatherings. Pat was a member of the Jr. Women's Club of Gridley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill Oakley and 1 grandson, Jordan Oakley.
Pat is survived by 2 sons: Michael (Eileen) Oakley of Gridley, CA and Ronald (Kathy) Oakley of Gridley, CA; and 1 daughter, Rhonda (Tim) Hill of Gridley, CA. She is also survived by 2 brothers: Billy Cole of Biggs, CA and Jim Cole of Live Oak, CA; and 2 sisters: Lee Ramsey of Yuba City, CA and Dee Hugi of Gridley, CA; 3 grandsons: Ryan Hill of San Francisco, CA, Christopher Oakley and Brandon Oakley both of Gridley, CA; and 1 great-grandson, Mason Oakley of Gridley, CA.
A Visitation will be held Sunday, June 20, 2010 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
Pastor Rick Cunningham of First Baptist Church in Gridley will officiate at the Services.
Interment will be held at Gridley-Biggs Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
