On Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 24, 2018, Clifford Roy Clark, resident of Ridgecrest, California, was killed instantly in a tragic automobile accident. Cliff was born on Dec. 30, 1948, in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, to James and Lorraine Clark. When he was a child, the family relocated to Southern California where he spent most of his life.  After his retirement from Ford Motor Company in 2004, where he had worked for 35 years, Cliff relocated to Ridgecrest, California.

Those who knew Cliff enjoyed his adventurous spirit and enthusiasm for a wide range of interests. Cliff loved to drive and took frequent road trips with his longtime companion, Rosalie, exploring the country, antiquing, and “swapping” for collectibles. His collections were extensive and eclectic. Cliff was very proud of his children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his partner Rosalie Sage of Ridgecrest; his children, Jennifer Kavanaugh of Wenatchee, Washington, and Kyle Clark of Covina, California; five siblings, brothers Jim, Jeff, Ken and Bruce, and sister, Joyce (Winch); seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life, hosted by Cliff’s siblings, will be held on March 9 in Reno, Nevada.
