Connie Rae Schleigh, 78, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2018, following a short illness.
She was born April 15, 1939, in Oroville, California to Leslie and Eunita Schleigh. She graduated from Oroville High School. She worked as a waitress, and later fulfilled her dream of becoming a cosmetologist. She loved to travel, garden, and to serve others. Her greatest gifts in life, were her children, grandsons, and great-grandson.
She is survived by her son, Randy Placy (Andrew), of Sacramento; daughters: Tami Lindgren, of Live Oak, and Shannon Fontaine (Dennis), of Gridley. She is also survived by five grandsons: Tony McCrill (Asha), Nick Fontaine (Danielle), Dustin Lindgren, Lincoln Kerch Placy, Finneus Kerch Placy, and her great-grandson, Benson Fontaine; sister, Toni Hall, of Marysville.
Connie was greeted by her loved ones that proceeded her in death, and by her savior Jesus Christ.
At the request of Connie, there will be a small private Celebration of Life with her children and their families.
