Celia Espinoza Servin, 80, passed away at home in Yuba City on Sunday, January 28, 2018.
In 1963, she immigrated to the United States with her husband where she made her home in Arbuckle, California. Later in life she moved to Yuba City where she lived for the past 40 years. Celia loved country life, sending those who visited home with fruit from her garden, and enjoyed having her home the gathering place for family and friends. She worked hard first as a stay at home mom and later in the fields around Yuba City so that her children could have a better future.
Celia is survived by her daughters: Elizabeth (husband Richard), Martha Patricia (husband Felipe); son, Manuel Salvador (wife Vanessa); beautiful grandchildren: Sara, Barney, Dominga, Anthony, Samantha, Darieonna, Ivan, Adriana, Maritza, Felipe, Alejandro, Benjamin; and her great-grandchildren: Trevor, Adan, Lexington, Sloane, Summer and Sophia. She is also survived by her siblings: Hilda Espinoza Padilla, Hermelia Espinoza Padilla, Yolanda Espinoza Martinez, Jose Maria Espinoza, Irene Serrano Espinoza, Felix Espinoza Padilla, Rosalba Espinoza Padilla, Guadalupe Cortez Espinoza, Griselda Espinoza Espinoza, and Norma Espinoza Padilla.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Jose C. Servin, sons: Jose Armando Servin (wife Tonja) and Tony Servin (wife Mendora) and daughter Ana McCoy (husband Robert), parents Jose Espinoza (1999) and Dominga Padilla (1986), and siblings: Gloria Espinoza Marquez (2004) and Luis Espinoza Padilla (2012).
Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018, 5 to 7 p.m., at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond Street, Yuba City, California 95991, (530) 673-9542.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018, 4 p.m., at Grace Baptist Church, 1980 S. Walton Avenue, Yuba City, California 95993, (530) 673-6847.
Burial will be on Sunday, February 4, 2018, 11 a.m., at East Lawn, Elk Grove Memorial Park, 9189 E. Stockton Boulevard, Elk Grove, California, 95624.
