Pauline Ruth Fagerstone Fillmore, 90, of Live Oak, passed away January 9, 2018 in Hawaii while on vacation with her family.

She was born in Chico on December 5, 1927, the second of two daughters born to Oscar and Mabel Fagerstone. She grew up in Richvale and attended school in Richvale and Biggs High School. She also attended La Verne College. She married Donald Fillmore in 1946. They were married almost 65 years when he passed away in 2011. They built their house and farmed walnuts west of Live Oak. Pauline was a choir member of her church in Richvale, which included a trio that sang on the radio for live broadcasts. She was an active member of the Live Oak Church of the Brethren, serving in many capacities including serving on the Board and singing in the choir. She also served on the District Board for the church, and on several CFO boards. She was a member of PTA for Hedger School. Pauline was a homemaker and a seamstress. She made many of her children's clothes when they were young. Later, she was a crafter, selling her items at craft shows. She recently retired her "Creations by Pauline Fillmore" home craft show after 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don Fillmore, son Stanley Fillmore, and sister Vivian Fagerstone Potter.

Pauline is survived by sons: Dale and Jill Fillmore, of Cohasset, Larry Fillmore, of Live Oak; daughters: Donna (John) McAvoy, of Live Oak, and Karen Hodges, of Yuba City; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister-in-laws: Norma Fillmore and Janice (Ric) Martinez, of Live Oak, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Live Oak Church of the Brethren, 1990 Archer Avenue, Live Oak on January 27,2018 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to the Live Oak Church of the Brethren in Pauline's name, or to Heifer Project at Heifer International, 1 World Avenue, Little Rock, AR 72202 or www.heifer.org.
