A Mass of Christian Burial was held for Dominga M. Reynosa, 94 of Gridley, California at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 2 P.M. Dominga passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at her daughter’s residence in Sacramento.

Dominga was born February 14, 1917 in San Antonio, Texas. She was a long time resident of Gridley. She enjoyed reading the Bible, sewing and gardening. She received an award and recognition in a newspaper article for her care and love given to residents of local Rest Homes. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Dominga was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Davila Reynosa; two sons: Isidro Reynosa and Jesse Reynosa and 1 daughter, Oralia Reyna.

She is survived by seven children: Teresa Pineda, Janie Moyer, David Reyna, Richard Reyna, Josie Muniz, Mary Chairez and Alicia Duran. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

A Rosary was recited Friday, January 13, 2012 at 1 P.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Father Avram Brown of Sacred Heart Catholic Church officiated at the services.

Interment was held at Gridley-Biggs Cemetery.

Arrangements were entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
