The Biggs Elementary ASB is holding a community service fundraiser called Lincoln Pennies for Fireworks. The money raised will be donated to the Biggs Hometown Celebration Committee Fireworks Display held every year in Biggs on the 4th of July. Because February is Washington and Lincolns birthday it only seems appropriate that the money raised in the fundraiser go to a patriotic themed event. The students are being asked to bring in any change that they have to their classrooms during the month of February. For the entire story, please pick up a 2/1/12 edition of The Gridley Herald.
