Goals and Policy Development


Oroville, California, The Butte County General Plan 2030 Citizens Advisory Committee will hold an additional meeting on October 23, 2008 that will be dedicated to Goals and Policy Development (Meeting Series #5) for Butte County General Plan 2030.  This meeting will be held at the Butte College Main Campus Cafeteria, 3536 Butte Campus Drive, Oroville, from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm and will include discussion and recommendations on the following Policy Topics:
Utilities, Services & Airports (Policy Questions 28-31)
 
Parks & Recreation, Trails (Policy Questions 32 and 33)
 
Natural Resources and Habitat (Policy Question 34)
 
Green Building, Greenhouse Gases & Energy (Police Questions 35 and 36)
Please join us for the Citizens Advisory Committee’s deliberations regarding these important policy topics.  The meeting is open to the public and there will be time for the public to address the Citizens Advisory Committee directly with comments and concerns.  The Butte County Resource Conservation District will also provide a presentation on their role in protecting Butte County’s Natural Resources and Habitat and how the General Plan’s policies can positively influence this area.  Please watch the Butte County General Plan 2030 website for a meeting Agenda.
