"Nobody likes to be in pain, nobody likes to feel like they can't do anything," said Dina Rabo, Gridley's new chiropractor on Sycamore St. "I've had my bouts with excruciating back pain and it really affects your mind, it affects your relationships, it affects your work, your ability to function."
Functionality is the key word in chiropractic. While pain may still be the most common complaint, the field is much more than cracking backs or necks. As Rabo explained, it's about improving a patient's quality of life.
