FEMA distributes preliminary flood risk maps for Butte County

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has presented preliminary flood risk maps to communities in Butte County. The preliminary draft maps will help community officials and local residents identify known flood risks and when finalized, will be used for flood insurance, land use planning and development decisions.
