The Gridley High School Band will kick-off the Memorial Day Services at the Gridley-Biggs Cemetery Monday, May 28 at 10:15 a.m., with a prelude followed by Col. Otto E. Behunin, USAF who will be acting as Master of Ceremonies and introducing George Hiralez of the VFW Post 5731 who will conduct the Pledge of Allegiance.
Connie Quist will be singing the National Anthem with the audience joining in followed by an Invocation by Brandon Heskett.

The Address of Welcome will be given by the Mayor of Gridley Frank Hall and Past Mayor of Biggs Roger Frith.

Speakers will be Miss Butte County Karli Martin and Miss Teen Butte County Audrey Johnson.

Kari Wheeler will perform Amazing Grace followed by Commemorative Tributes by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5731 and Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post 210 and Ladies Auxiliary, Military Officers Association of America and the Vietnam Veterans Organization.

The Gridley High School Band will play the Armed Forces Salute for each branch of the military followed by a special Flag Folding Ceremony with a presentation of the flag to the family of the late Eleanor Bonslett Macey.

Featured speaker will be Maj. Cliff Wagner, USAR followed by Barbara Squires singing "God Bless America" with audience participation.

Beale Air Force Base will perform the rendering of the military honors and the Flyby for all to enjoy.
