Manzanita 4-H is a busy group with enthusiastic members who worked hard with their advisors to host their first Farm To Fork Dinner Monday at Daddow Park. The members have had cooking classes which helped in their presentations as they spoke on the different commodities grown in this area and what nutritional value they have.

Dinner featured as many local commodities as possible including local spiced and sweet walnuts, dried kiwis, fresh tomato salsa and chips, local assorted salad greens, tamale pie, tin roof sour dough bread and local olive oil, lemon rice and Spanish rice, walnut brownies and local strawberries.

The tables were beautifully decorated and this was a very nice event which included a cool breeze on an otherwise warm night.
