At least 230 people gathered at the Butte County Fairgrounds and Gridley High School Saturday to perform many much needed projects. At the fairgrounds everything from sprinkler installation, flower planting, painting and building was done and the high school locker rooms are now painted which was very much needed.
The swimming pool area was painted as well as the arena chutes and the sprayers were kept very busy.
The ages ranged from two-years-old to 95-year-old Vere Gardner and it was a very gratifying day for all of those participating.
Lunch was served to all the volunteers who were no doubt ready for a break.
Fair CEO Steve Kenny is very much appreciative of the immense amount of work done once again and thanks everyone involved.
