The Green Thumb Garden Club met for their annual Spring Luncheon and White Elephant Sale with many beautiful fresh flower arrangements placed on each table bringing a touch of spring indoors.

A social time was enjoyed before the business meeting , Millie Presley a long time member was welcomed back, and Vera Celis introduced her guest Delores Rodarte.

President Linda Presley called the Business portion of the meeting to order. Secretary Colleen Banes read the previous meetings minutes, and Jerry Keoppel presented the Treasurer's report.

 

The remainder of the meeting the group enjoyed many delicious salads and dessert. The luncheon was catered by Linda Widener and Stephanie Cunha.

The Green Thumb Garden Club meets monthly on the third Thursday at 10 a.m., at the "Lion's Den, 186 Washington Street. The meeting consists of a social time, followed by an informative program, and an optional local garden tour after the meeting. Members are both women and men, guests are always welcome.

The next meeting will be April 19. The program will be presented by Arlene Grein sharing her experiences with "Begonias In The Garden."
