The Gridley and Biggs communities are invited to help make wishes come true with Make-A-Wish and BloodSource on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 by donating blood at the drive hosted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Children's Hope Foster Family Agency. All donors in January can donate their MyBloodSource Rewards to help Make-A-Wish grant wishes to kids in need.

Each year, more than 4.5 million people in the U.S., alone, need blood. Blood donors can help save lives of patients with life-threatening diseases, trauma patients, and victims of natural disasters.

Walk-ins are welcomed. Childcare will be provided.

The Blood Drive will be Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 2 to 7 p.m., at the Cultural Hall at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 400 Spruce Street.

Whole blood donors must be at least 16 years old (16 or 17 with a BloodSource parental consent, available online at Bloodsource.org), weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, be in good general health and bring a photo I.D. Other donation types have specific eligibility criteria. Please visit bloodsource.org/donate for more information.
