Wednesday, November 29, 2017 will be a very busy evening in Gridley first with the 5:30 p.m., Tree Lighting Ceremony at Orchard Hospital, followed by the Parade of Lights downtown at 6:30 p.m. Hay rides will be offered from the hospital to downtown in time for the parade.
Parade line-up begins at 5:30 p.m., at the south end of Virginia Street by Gridley Lions Club members.
Though the deadline to sign up for vendors and parade applicants was Monday there is still time to get in the lineup for just $10 more. Visit the Chamber of Commerce office at 890 Hazel Street or call 846-3142 and leave a message.
Vendors will be lined up on Kentucky Street from Spruce to Sycamore with plenty of great items to purchase including many choices of food items for dinner from Gridley Lions Club and food trucks. Bring your shopping list and your appetite, it will be a fun night!
