The Northern Recon Group is in town for their four day "Camp Gridley" at the Butte County Fairgrounds. Friday will be a day of tours and convoys after a day at the Afterbay Thursday with a Land Craft. Saturday is Living History Day from 11 a.m., to 3 p.m., and the public is invited to come view the many military vehicles members will drive here along with their tents and other artifacts.

At 1 p.m., a special ceremony will be held to honor veterans Don Rummel, Fran Burke and Vere Gardner.

The ceremony will be held at the Pearl Harbor Memorial near the Courtyard Stage. A group photo will be taken at 2 p.m, along with a military vehicle pass and review.

Many military vehicles will be on display amongst the tents in the carnival area of the fairgrounds and access can be made through the carnival gate at E. Gridley Road.
