The Gridley Bulldogs will travel to Willows tonight in the first of their season's games. Because the temperatures continue to rise over 100 degrees, the games have been moved up an hour. JV will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the Varsity will begin at 8:30 p.m.

The Bulldogs had a bye last week so that Gridley students could enjoy their FFA activities at the Butte County Fair. The team had a scrimmage in Oroville at Harrison Stadium recently.

Coach Kemmis says the numbers look good as there are around 25 players each for the varsity and JV and freshman levels.

The Bulldogs will not host a home game until September 15 when they host the Live Oak Lions for the annual Harvest Bowl. On Friday, September 8, the Bulldogs will travel to Anderson.
