Tuesday, August 15, 2017 will mark the final Farmers Market at Daddow Park this year with many enjoying their time so much they want it to continue - such as the farmers!

Last week's market featured the Johnson Grass Band playing bluegrass music and Marty Martin who will return Tuesday with his great music and friends Rodger Scott and Larry Reichert who lend their great voices to many of the hits played.

The fun begins at 5 p.m., and will continue with many great vendors returning for a great evening of camaraderie, eating and shopping. Tamales will be sold by Iglesia Gentil De Cristo for the remodeling project of their church.

The Gridley Area Chamber of Commerce would like to thank everyone who volunteered to help make this season a success especially the many vendors who attended each week to bring great deals to shoppers and many thanks to the wonderful farmers who brought great items each week for everyone to enjoy.

Thank you sponsors Kaleidoscope, Continental Athletic Supply, Ace Hardware and th Gridley Rotary Club.

Many thanks to the Gridley Fire Department and volunteers, Gridley-Biggs Police, Gridley Public Works, Gridley Honda and the teens of MiCasa Afterschool Program.

On Tuesday the First Baptist Church will be giving free sno-cones and popcorn to kids with balloons. Come join the fun in Daddow Park where the cool breeze is a great relief from the heat!
