A true story never felt so good.
I remember this story when I was a kid. 3 Whales were trapped in the ice, and the world was trying to save them.
“Big Miracle” delivers it’s name sake. Now, as an adult, it is amazing to see the lengths that people, companies, and a town went to save these whales.
This movie was put together beautifully and wonderfully balanced. Drew Barrymore did a great job as the over zealous and sometimes annoying Greenpeace spokeswoman. And more than that, we got to see WHY everyone wanted to free the whales, and how they were all motivated by different reasons, other than the whales, to get the job done.
But that is the definition of a Miracle, isn’t it? Something happening, that shouldn’t have happened. A higher force, knowing exactly what will motivate each individual to put their heart into the job, so that those whales will be saved. Yep. Sounds like a “Big Miracle” to me.
Rated PG for language, this is a family MUST SEE. I give “Big Miracle” 5 out of 5 stars.
