Four years ago today, this humble little blog was born — just in time for the historic presidential campaign of 2008.
Since then, Applesauce has published nearly 8,000 posts, drawn about 75,000 comments from readers, and attracted more than 1.3 million page views.
I’m sincerely grateful to those of you whose regular visits and spirited contributions have helped make this enterprise the modest success it has become.
