  • Friends of big names such as “Skoal Sally”  and “Big Chill” are coming to this year's Butte County Fair August  22 but these are not rides in the Midway of Fun Carnival.
These thoroughbreds are just two of the members of Cotton Rosser's Flying U Rodeo which is bringing Extreme Bull Riding to the grandstands Friday, August 22 at 7:30 p.m.
    Gates open at 6:30 p.m.
Bulls that have been a part of this famous rodeo such as “Whitewater Skoal” can be seen on TNN when the PBR travels to the West Coast for the Bud Light Cups.
Flying U has been raising bucking horses since the late 1960's and Julio Moreno brought the bucking bull program in the late 1980's.
It is up to Julio to oversee the breeding of the stock, making sure that the right cows cross with the best bucking bulls and the best bucking mares to cross on the stallions.
The name Cotton Rosser is synonymous with the  Flying U Rodeo, one of the most famous stock contracting firms in professional rodeo and the outstanding rodeo productions they have put on for years.
This action-packed bull riding event will be preceded by the ever-popular muttin-bustin'.
Advance ticket price which includes admission into the fair is $16, available through August 19, 2014 at the fair office. After that date, ticket prices are $12 each which excludes fair admission and will be available August 20 while supplies last. Fair admission is $8.
Tickets will no doubt go fast for this big event so visit the fair office right away so you don't miss out.
This will be a great show for all ages.
