Biggs High School student-athletes were recognized during Monday’s spring sports awards ceremony in the school’s auditorium. 

Seniors Blaine Roles and Andrew Perez shared the Most Valuable Player award for Biggs’ varsity baseball team, while Roles was also awarded All-Mountain Valley league honors. Senior Dalton Evenson earned the title of Mr. Wolverine and was an honorable mention for the MVL. Senior Carlos Velasquez was also selected as an MVL honorable mention, and senior Antonio Baeza was named as the team’s Most Improved Player.

Junior Delanie Little, who transferred to Biggs this school year, highlighted the banquet for the Lady Wolverines’ softball team. Little was named the team’s Most Valuable Player and was an All-MVL selection. Junior Megan Rudd earned the Miss Wolverine award, and freshman Aleah Contreras was the Wolverines’ Most Improved Player. Sophomore Miranda Felkins was voted the Best Teammate and earned league recognition as an honorable mention. Senior Ashley Perez was also an honorable mention for the MVL.

Sophomore Morgan Roles was given the Coach’s award for Biggs’ track and field team, and sophomore Jennifer McIntire was selected as most improved for the track team.
