    According to CNN, "The Late Show" host David Letterman will retire in 2015 when his contract runs out. Letterman made the announcement during taping of tonight's show, the report said. Letterman has hosted "The Late Show" since 1993 and will be following one-time rival Jay Leno into retirement.

    "NASA is laser focused on a plan to return human spaceflight launches to American soil, and end our reliance on Russia to get into space." - Statement from NASA, appealing for funding from Congress so it can bring back the shuttle program. The space agency announced today it is tapering relations with Russia, in light of recent events in Ukraine, but also said it would still work with Russia's space program on issues concerning the International Space Station.
    Hot video: Train smashes into SUV that went around gate
    The Houston Metro Police released a dramatic surveillance video showing a train colliding with an SUV. The driver tried to beat the train but failed. Two adults and two children were taken to the hospital and are expected to be OK.
