The Lady Wolverines took home a decisive victory over the Live Oak High School basketball team on Monday night, 38-14. The bulk of Live Oak’s points came in the fourth quarter. The Lady Lions outscored Biggs 8-2 in the final quarter, but it wasn’t enough to close the deficit of the first three quarters. Biggs led the entire game, holding Live Oak to only six points before the break. The Lady Wolverines prevented Live Oak from scoring in the entire third quarter. Leading the charge for Biggs’ girls was Aime Tinoco, who picked up 15 points. Aide Tinoco finished with seven points, while junior Ashley Perez and recent transfer Delanie Little both finished with six. Rachel Hedrick led the Lady Wolverines in rebounds with eight, while Little and Olivia Castillo both had five. The Tinoco twins had three steals each. Stats were not available for Live Oak.
