Funeral Services were held for John James Gulick, 65 of Gridley. He passed away on November 21, 2013 in Yuba City. He was born on July 26, 1948 to Johnny and Carmelita Gulick in Sacramento, California. He was a long time resident of Gridley, having been born into Pioneer Gridley Families. He worked many years and retired from Regional Transit of Sacramento. His life passion was music; he was an avid drummer playing the blues all over the state and hosted a yearly event called Gridstock. He enjoyed photography and hunting. He was a member of Wilderness Unlimited. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by two sisters, Joan Gulick, of Fort Brag, California, and Joyce (Dennis) McClure; of Gridley; one niece Amy (Luca) Varlani, of Italy; and one nephew Jeremy Gulick, of Fort Brag, California. Family suggests donations to Wilderness Unlimited. Interment was held at the Gridley Biggs Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
