The annual Gridley Education Foundation Golf Tournament for the benefit of Gridley Schools will take place on Monday, June 17, at Peach Tree Golf and Country Club. The format of the tournament will be a Four Person Best Ball Scramble. If you have less than a four-person team, you will be matched with other golfers. The cost is $125.00 per golfer, which covers green fees and cart, lunch, beverages on the course, and prizes. Don’t wait to sign up, as the tournament is only open to the first 124 golfers (31 teams). Team prizes will be given to the top team with the lowest gross score in the Men and Coed Divisions. Individual prizes will go to the “Longest Drive” and “Closest-to-the-Hole”. Registration and lunch will begin at 11:00 AM, where participants will receive a mulligan and meal ticket. Shotgun will start at 12:00 PM. You will have a great afternoon of golf and be supporting the most worthy of causes, our children. Past tournament monies have helped develop the Gridley Sports Complex, provided grants to classroom teachers, future development of Ag. Property and scholarships. HOLE SPONSORSHIP – Sponsor a hole and get the Big Dawg Treatment for $225.00 (with golfer) or $100.00 (non-golfer).
