Miles Schon is a talented musician and songwriter who hails from a rich background in rock-n-roll. He is very modest about his background, playing down the fact that his father is one of the great American guitarists (Neal Schon, one of the founding members of the legendary rock band Journey), and describes his own sound as “progressive hard rock with blues and pop/R&B mixed into one”. When asked about his comparisons to his father, he replies, “I’ve heard [the comparisons] my whole life. I just pay attention to what I sound like and what I try to do... I’m working on my own style.” Band members are Miles Schon, Leah Tysse, Ben Burleigh, Aaron Hagerty, and Rich Smith. Do not miss this chance to see Miles up front and in person. “Chameleon- The Santana Experience! - Under the guidance and leadership of long-time Santana fan founding member Jim Thornton, Chameleon-The Santana Experience continues to earn a reputation as one of the premier in-demand “tribute” acts currently touring and performing in nightclubs and festivals throughout Northern California. The signature sound of the music of Carlos Santana is complex, combining rock, blues and Afro-Cuban flavors. Emerging out of San Francisco in the late sixties, Santana gained national prominence and recognition with the 1969 “Woodstock” performance, unleashing this unique music that has provided 40+ years of dancing, joy and celebration to an international audience since then. Chameleon features a list of superior musicians capable of providing the power, passion, and musical prowess needed to accurately perform this music. The band is Jim Thornton (lead guitar/vocals), Dave Bastian (keyboards/vocals). Larry Casserly (bassist/vocals), Kit Bailey (timbales/percussion), Dave Meyler (congas/percussion), Rob Holland (percussion/vocals). “Immaculate Thieves” - This band was formed in 2013 with Ward Clark (drums) and Vinnie Pantaleone (bass). Vinnie has been playing bass for over 35 years and has played with some of the biggest names in the business. He was the bass player for the band Steel Breeze which was signed to RCA Records and had success in the early to mid 80s with the hit song “You Don’t Want Me Anymore”. Some of the artists Vinnie’s toured with have been The Who, Hall and Oates, Joan Jett, Kansas, The Greg Kihn Band, Missing Persons and Robin Trower just to name a few. Immaculate Thieves shows a strong and unique blend of classic rock, with James Camblin (guitar), Ward Clark (drums), and Charles “Chuck” Jennings (keyboards), whose hometown is Washington D.C. where he was taught by and played with Grammy-winning jazz keyboardist Gregg Karukas and guitar player turned legendary guitar-maker Paul Reed Smith of PRS fame. Ward Clark (drums/percussionist), started playing alto saxophone at age 10 but switched to drums at age 14 because girls “all love the drummer“. Ultimately joined CURB recording artist JJ WHITE in June 1991 as their touring drummer which included touring Europe, and opening shows for Brooks & Dunn and Little Texas. Also extensively toured in the US with such country music acts as Wynona Judd and Kris Kristofferson. Billy Bensing and Kellie Garmire - Separately, each are talented musicians and singer/songwriters. Together they create a kind of musical and harmony magic that time and time again captivates their audience. Their musical talents have been enjoyed for years in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills. Always well received wherever they play, their music is soothing and their harmonies intricate and effortless. They have played at events as varied as wine tasting rooms, county fairs and lakeside nuptials. A very nice way to start the morning.
