  • Now that The Vampire Diaries' Matt and Rebekah are jetting off for the summer together, will they continue their relationship when the series, and its spin-off The Originals, returns in the fall?
"Julie [Plec] has left the door open for us to have cross-overs and for each of the characters to swap between the show," Claire Holt told TVGuide.com.

Although Rebekah has had a new companion in Matt (Zach Roerig), Holt says she'll have to fix her relationship with brother Klaus (Joseph Morgan) in order to survive New Orleans.
"She's going to have to mend her relationship with Klaus in order to make it successful and work for her," Holt says. "I'm hoping Rebekah and Klaus will reconnect again because we had some fun times in the '20s."
