North Korea banned South Korean workers from an industrial complex jointly managed by both countries earlier today, according to CNN. The complex has been viewed as a symbol of cooperation between the two countries. North Korean officials have said that South Korean workers who had already entered the complex, which is technically in North Korea, would be allowed to leave. Experts say that if the Kaesong Industrial Complex is permanently shut down it will hurt North Korea much more than South Korea. The complex is an important source of hard currency for North Korea. This comes after North Korea announced yesterday that it was restarting a nuclear reactor that had been shut down five years ago, the latest in a series of aggressive acts by the country.
