CHICO- On Thursday, March 28, Chief Minority Whip and North State Assemblyman Dan Logue, will host a town hall with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) on issues such as clean air requirements, and how the North State will be impacted by diesel regulations. The program is informational and is scheduled for 5:00-6:30 pm at City of Chico Council Chambers located at 411 Main Street, Chico.
“In light of the significant challenges that many businesses and farms have faced meeting diesel regulations, I want to make sure the people of the North State are fully aware of how these regulations will affect them,” said Logue, “This town hall is about giving farmers and business owners in my district the opportunity to interact directly with members of CARB. I want them to be able to ask questions and get responses first-hand.”
“As a North State business owner I work to confront the issues of staying in compliance with CARB regulations every day for our clients and our own operations,” stated Ryan Rogers, President, Lakeview Energy Services. “Considering the growing volume of state and federal regulations, I know first-hand how challenging it can be to meet ongoing requirements including investing in new equipment and tracking emissions data. I am looking forward to participating in Assemblyman Dan Logue’s Town Hall on March 28 regarding CARB and the diesel regulations. I encourage those in industry, farming, or anyone who is affected by CARB regulations to join us for this important event.”
Joining Logue will be Jennifer Gress, Legislative Director, Erik White, Mobile Source Control Division Assistant Chief, Tony Brasil Heavy Duty Diesel Implementation Branch Chief, and Judy Friedman, Compliance Assistance and Outreach Branch Chief.
