  • The Gridley Boat Ramp and Park is open for business following the ribbon cutting held last Wednesday with City staff, Mayor Jeff Draper, Councilwoman Jerry Fichter, Councilman Frank Hall, City Administrator Rob Hickey, Gridley-Biggs Police Chief Gary Keeler, City Engineer Bruce Nash (cutting the ribbon), Building Engineer Keith Gebhardt, Electric Superintendent Daryl Dye, Public Works Supervisor Randy Davis, Recreation Director Malanee Montero, Chamber of Commerce Manager Christine Cunningham with board members Anita Jacquot and Trisha McDonald and representatives of DeWitt Construction who was contracted to do the work. Improvements include a new fish cleaning station, a new concrete ramp, parking area, boarding floats, sewer lift station, slope protection and drainage and lighting, new handicap access restrooms, picnic tables, and secure access.
