The Gridley High boys’ basketball team's bid for a return trip to the Northern Section title game came up one game short.
Top-seeded Corning ended the Bulldogs’ Division IV playoff run, 50-43, in the semifinals last Wednesday night.
Mat Scott finished his final high school basketball game in good fashion with 16 points. Shobi Khan, Sam Cota, and Tyler Abrego each finished the game with eight points.
