Smuttynose Brewing Company today announced the release of two new Short Batch beers and a returning beer to the Big Beer Series.

The two Short Batch beers, available in bottles exclusively at the Smuttynose Brewery in Portsmouth, N.H., are Bloom and Durty.

First up will be Bloom. It is a Belgian golden ale brewed with yarrow, lavender, chamomile, rose buds, elder flowers, calendula, nasturtium and dianthus.

The second beer is Durty, which is a hoppy brown ale. It comes in at 55 IBUS and around 8 percent alcohol by volumes. Unlike the rest of the Short Batch beers, Durty will be available in 22 ounce bottles.

The Big Beer series release is the 2013 Gravitation – a Belgian-style quad. It is brewed with Trappist ale yeast and five specialty malts. It will be available wherever other Big Beer series entries are available.
