  • When speaking with Lee Robb at Biggs-Gridley Memorial Hospital, there is no doubt where he hails from. The state of Mississippi lost a good man when Robb accepted the job of Director of Human Resources at our local hospital in June.
Having worked at several Critical Access Hospitals for Pioneer Hospitals, Robb fit right in at Biggs-Gridley Hospital.
Married to his wife Deborah for 35 years, the couple has three sons and 10 grandchildren – five in Mississippi, three in Kansas and two in Colorado.
Deborah travels extensively for her job in which she edits Medicare denials and has spoken at the Association of Health Information Management Convention and teaches physicians about Medicare.
Robb went through elementary and high school in Kansas and served as a Medic in the Army eight years. He lived in Fairbanks, Alaska 12 years where he went to college.
When not handling human resource matters at the hospital, Robb enjoys riding his Victory Vision motorcycle with his wife. They both enjoy spending time with family and he has four brothers – three in Kansas and one in Colorado.
They enjoy going to Kansas for vacation to spend time with family.
"This is a very nice, friendly hospital. I haven't worked in a hospital more friendly or receptive. The Board of Directors is willing to advance with services and improvements. I am amazed at how receptive and willing they are to get the job done," he said.
