“I am so proud of this team,” said Freitas, whose squad finished the season 22-10. “We felt good about our chances today, but we also knew Sutter was a great all-around team which plays tremendous defense, and today they showed why. They made some plays which kept us from starting rallies, and we just couldn't find any easy ways on base.” You can read the rest of the story is the 5-23-12 edition of The Gridley Herald.
