A Graveside Service will be held Friday, April 13, 2012 at 2 pm at Gridley-Biggs Cemetery for Orlan F. Ingraham, 83 of Gridley, California. He passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 at his residence.
Orlan was born January 4, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois. He was a long time resident of Gridley having owned and operated Ingraham Trucking. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II and the Korean Conflict where he was stationed overseas. He retired after over twenty years of service. He enjoyed hunting and flying model airplanes. He was a life time member of the Warren McCutcheon VFW Post 5731 Gridley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dean Ingraham.
Orlan is survived by his loving wife Evelyn Ingraham, of Gridley, California and one son, Orlan L. Ingraham, of Gridley, California. He is also survived by one brother, Gordon Ingraham, of Maxwell, California and one sister, Lorna, of Sheldon, Washington; and his mother in-law, Rosalie Zander, of Gridley, California and two sister’s in-law: Jeannie Ingraham, of Nevada and Virginia Kopp, of Gridley, California.
Beal Air Force Base Honor Guard will officiate at the services.
Interment will be held at Gridley-Biggs Cemetery.
Contributions to the American Cancer Society are suggested by the family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
