A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11 a.m.. at Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel for Larry K. Adams, 67, of Gridley, California. He passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012, at his residence.
Larry was born February 7, 1945, in Temple, Texas. He was a long time resident of Gridley having worked for Manzanita School as a maintenance worker and bus driver. He enjoyed collecting and shooting guns and collecting knives. He was an avid fan of PBR – Pro Bull Riding and the Green Bay Packers Football team. He served in the United States Army during Viet Nam and was stationed overseas. His four granddaughters were the apple of his eye.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Lowren Adams and one brother, James Adams.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Christine Adams of Gridley, California; two sons: Delany Adams of Stillwell, Oklahoma and Guy Adams of Yuba City, California; and one daughter, Jami Adams of Gridley, California. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Contributions to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation are suggested by the family.
