A Graveside Service was held Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 2 P.M. at Gridley-Biggs Cemetery for Harlan Delbert Lee, 89 of Gridley, California. He passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Gridley Health Care and Wellness Center in Gridley.
Harlan was born September 6, 1922 in Solway, Minnesota. He was a long time resident of Gridley having worked for Butte County Mosquito Abatement. He loved his Lord and had a strong relationship with Him. He served in the US Army during WWII. Harlan was a member of Lighthouse Tabernacle in Gridley.
He was preceded in death by two wives: Bernice Lee and Jeannie Jordan; one son, Michael Lee, one daughter, Barbara Lee; his parents; two brothers: Dennis Lee and Alvin Lee and one grandson, Jason Lee.
Harlan is survived by one son, Kenneth (Wanda) Lee, of Colusa, California and one daughter, Karen Lee, of Oroville, California. He is also survived by one sister, Opal Williams, of Indiana and one granddaughter, Jennifer Ochoa, of Texas and two great-grandchildren.
A Visitation was held Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 5 PM to 8 PM at Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
Pastor Bill Hammond of Lighthouse Tabernacle in Gridley will officiate at the services.
Interment will be held at Gridley-Biggs Cemetery, Gridley, California.
Contributions to Lighthouse Tabernacle, 920 Ohio Street, Gridley, California 95948 are suggested by the family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
