Rubino was selected by the Board of Trustees from a pool of outstanding candidates according to Board President Richard Harp at the March 21 meeting.
Rubino comes to Gridley with experience as a teacher, 12 years as a Principal, eight years as a Director of Human Resources, and the last four years as Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources with the Martinez Unified School District.
Mr. Rubino was present at the meeting, and greeted everyone in attendance warmly, and is ready to get started with the task of working with the Board of Trustees as well as everyone in the community.
After the announcement and vote to begin the meeting, there was a short intermission held to celebrate the hiring, and Mr. Rubino made the rounds speaking to everyone in attendance and voicing his pleasure and excitement about coming to Gridley and hopefully making a positive impact in his new role.
