Marvin Ray Markle, 65, passed away peacefully at home on June 8, 2010.
Marvin was born in Richmond, California, on November 1, 1945.  Marvin moved to Biggs, California in 1990.  He married Sandra Booker in 1965.  In February, they celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary.
At age 55, Marvin retired from C&H Sugar, in Crockett, California.  He served his country in the National Guard and was President of the Sugar Workers Union for ten years.  He served as Vice mayor of Biggs, California and he was a member of the Biggs City Council from 2002-2004.
Marvin will be remembered by family and friends as a loving father, grandpa and a great-grandpa, brother and friend who will truly be missed.
Marvin’s last wishes were to take his whole family to Disneyland this summer.  In lieu of flowers, feel free to make this wish come true.  PO Box 724, Biggs, California, 95917.
Marvin is survived by his wife and two children, Marvin Ray Markle Jr., of Oroville and Melisa Lattemore, of Biggs; four grandchildren: Vanessa Markle, Jake Rogers, Austin Markle and Savannah Rogers, all from Biggs; two great-grandchildren: Vivi Hayden and Elijah Hayden, both from Biggs.  He is also survived by his siblings: Peggy Johnson, of Biggs, Breada Borrilez, of  the Bay Area, and Kenny Markle, of Biggs.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Markle, his mother, Bonnie Markle, and his brother, Roy Markle, all from California.
