Sunday, July 4, 2010, will mark the Eighth Annual All American Hometown Celebration in Biggs.

Being able to celebrate another year of this fantastic event is cause for celebration enough. A committee of Biggs residents meets all year to ensure that this exciting day occurs even if it means having more fund raisers, especially to pay for the terrific fireworks show, which begins at 9:15 p.m.

The day will begin with a Pancake Breakfast at Cork Oak Park starting at 7 a.m., with booths opening at 8 a.m.

The B Street parade will begin at 10 a.m., and the classic car show will follow the parade, also at Cork Oak Park.

The entertainment and   food  will begin at 11 a.m., with plenty of fun for kids of all ages.
Live music by Jim Halsey and the Nighthawks will begin at 6:30 p.m., which means there will be lots of fun and excitement from breakfast through dinner and end with the terrific fireworks show.
Many congratulations to the committee of hard workers who  once again made this day possible.
Anyone wanting to have a booth should call Wanda at 916-435-8477; parade and car show, Mark at 868-5718 and donations/sponsorships Angela at 868-5088.
