Gridley City Council members will meet Monday night at 6 p.m. for a study session for the Sutter Butte Flood Control Agency presentation regarding levy improvement issues.

The hour long study session will be held at City Hall followed by the regular council meeting at 7 p.m.

The draft agenda for the regular meeting includes a public hearing on the Banes Tentative Subdivision Map.

The consent calendar will be considered with reports from each department to review and accept and consider adopting a 2007 contract for the Water Main Project to Newland Entities, Inc. for construction in the amount of $364,155. Acceptance of NCPA Market Power Purchases is on the consent agenda also, along with approval of cash disbursements for the months of October, November and December, 2008.

Former Butte County Supervisor Curt Josiassen will be recognized with a presentation of a proclamation for his time served representing District 4.
