Gridley High School goes GREEN!  Electronic waste is an    increasing environmental problem.  Every year, we replace our electronics with newer and faster versions, leaving the old versions to stack up.  Here's a great way to clean up, be environmentally responsible and help your local school.

The event will be held Friday and Saturday, January 30th and 31st from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Gridley High School Parking Lot, next to the Swimming Pool, across the street from the Butte County Fair (Hazel Street Gate).

Bring your electronic waste to Gridley High School, broken or unbroken. There is no limit on how many items you can bring to recycle, and it is FREE of charge.   Items include monitors, TVs, LCD screens, plasma screens, laptops, cell phones, ipods, ink jet cartridges, digital cameras, anything with a plug, but nothing with Freon,  i.e. refrigerators, freezers, etc.

For more information on this electronic recycling event, contact Rachelle at  530 518-1691.
