A Study Session at 6:30 p.m. will precede the regular Gridley City Council meeting Monday night at Gridley City Hall.


The Study Session is being held to hear reports of the Historical Financial Analysis for 1993-2007 and an update on the proposed changes to the billing cycle.


The regular meeting, scheduled to start at 7 p.m., will begin with two public hearings. The first public hearing will be a lien assessment of 1025 Virginia Street for costs incurred to install a sidewalk and driveway apron. The second public hearing will amend the CDBG contract to correct the "set aside" budget categories and amounts.


The Consent Calendar includes a proclamation recognizing Butte County Supervisor Curt Josiassen, who's term will end January 5, when new Supervisor for this area, Steve Lambert is sworn in.


Committee positions and Planning Commission Appointments will be discussed followed by Ordinances and Resolutions, including a Second Reading of Ordinance No. 784-2008, which is an ordinance of the City of Gridley amending various sections of the City Municipal Code pertaining to the lien procedure for delinquent solid waste, sewer, and water accounts.
