Every year Wilson School holds a soccer tournament that was established by Wilson School P.E. teacher Amber Melton. Ms. Melton feels the tournament is a positive way to promote good character in students with respect for each other and sportsmanship. It also gives a large number of students something to do and keeps them out of trouble.

There are three fields set up at a time. Students can join a team to play, volunteer to referee games, and other students cheer from the sidelines. There is an A and B bracket. Students are placed in brackets based on their soccer skills. This year's tournament just finished. The Super Chicas won the B bracket and Team America won the A bracket. Now you're in the loop with the Wilson Scoop!
